At Mix 'n' Mingle we heard from Helen Perry (Fresh PR) on how collaborations forged at SCEIA networking events provided the opportunity for works form the Australian Wearable Art Festival to be showcased at this year's Big Pineapple Music Festival. We also heard from Mayor Rosanna Natoli who spoke passionately about the value and importance of the events, hospitality and tourism industries to the Sunshine Coast which has higher than the national average of employees in this sector and is such an integral element for enhancing our region’s liveability and the visitor experiences.

It was great to see such a diverse group of businesses and sectors attending Mix'n' Mingle – a clear demonstration of a willingness for collaboration across sectors and we look forward to even stronger collaborations amongst the events network to lay a solid foundation for the pathway to 2032 and beyond.
